Akai has Introduced the First Mobile MPC
 
The MPC 500 – a 32-voice drum/phrase sampler with up to 128 MB RAM – is the first completely mobile (perfect for making beats on an airplane or train) Music Production Center.
 
The MPC500 runs on batteries (6 AAs) but can also be plugged in. Features a drag and drop option so you can transfer any data from the MPC to your computer, or on to your other MPC equipment.
